My spiritual journey began when a long-term relationship ended for me. I felt a great deal of bitterness and had to learn how to forgive on land, air & sea. This took me five, years to complete. It was during this time that I discovered at Unity Church the Katheryn Ponders books on forgiveness, which I began to apply on a daily basis and began the journey of self-healing. I took a Shirley McClane course that was offered and there were 1100 people in this course. Only 100 were men. She put us through many meditations, and I couldn’t figure out what these people were doing. They all looked like they were in bliss, but I couldn’t feel anything at this time. During this course, I met a woman who I sat next to 3 days in a row. Little did I know that she would become my spiritual teacher and move into my house for 1.5 years. I would come home from work, and she would teach me spirituality every evening. It took me 8 months of constant work to begin to feel the energy coming out of my hands. When I did, I had feelings of amazement that this really did exist. It was during this time that I was exposed to a lot of spiritual people but also a lot of different modalities. I ended up becoming a Johrei channel because I love the energy so much. From this point, I went on to my second modality, Mari-El. This was taught by Ethel Lombardi, who was one of the original 22 Reiki Masters that Madame Takata made after she started teaching Reiki. Madame Takata was 2nd in line from the founder of Reiki, Dr. Usui. From that point, my journey as a healer really began when I started to volunteer at various alternative healing projects. It was also at this time that I began a healing circle in Chicago that I facilitated once a week for 10 years. We worked on approximately 40 people per night. I began teaching Reiki and courses on spirituality. This led me to many advanced modalities given to me through spirit and put me on a shamanic path. I now incorporate over 30 years of healing experience in my healings.

Kathy & I met over eight years ago when Spirit led her to study Reiki with me. Kathy went through my entire program, including Shamanic training. We became great friends, equals, and business partners through that time. As healing partners, we complement each other on many spiritual and energetic levels, including many past lives where we have done extensive healing work together.
